Does Alcohol-free Witch Hazel help clear blackheads and other types of acne?

ACNE BLEMISHES

Apply a solution of apple cider vinegar and water (2 tablespoons to 1 eight ounce glass of water) with a cotton ball several times a day. This will help reduce infection and dry out inflammation.Does Alcohol-free Witch Hazel help clear blackheads and other types of acne?
Plain witch hazel is by nature alcohol free. It helps remove dirt and oils from the skin, and as it is naturally antibacterial it also helps kill some of the bacteria that cause pimples. A blackhead is simply the oil blocking a pore that has reacted to the air and turned brownish or blackish. By limiting the amount of dirt and stuff on the face, you would tend to breakout less. However, not even witch hazel can prevent everything. It can help, but it's not a miracle in a bottle. Things that can help you clear blocked pores are steam facials, blackhead remover strips and some facial masks that are designed to help clear pores. I have my daughters use plain witch hazel and clean cotton pads to wipe down their faces a couple times a day. We live in a city where the air pollution can be awful, and it helps them a lot. The other thing that helps is tea tree oil, applied directly to spots in the making. They use soap and water to wash with, and otherwise try to limit the makeup. For the most part it works well. No one thing will prevent all the breakouts, but keeping the skin helps a lot. To that end, witch hazel is a good thing to use.Does Alcohol-free Witch Hazel help clear blackheads and other types of acne?
Witch Hazel just dries out skin so be careful. Not really meant for acne or blackheads though. A prescription for clindamycin would be helpful for mild acne and its easy to apply with a cool applicator!

It kills bacteria and works wonders. Blackheads are a little more difficult and when I find something that works, I'll let you know!
hey you know what really helps WATER seriously man i don't get acne anymore just drink as much as you can do over do it though. and also use non-comedogenic lotion they help a lot they reduce oil production.
