Ok I have had blackheads for about 4 years now and i am sick of them! are there any home remedies that work that i could use? they r mainly on my nose and a few between my eyebrows
i dont really touch my face that often i mean i try and get rid of a few every now and then but thats pretty much it...
ok thanks :]Help with blackheads?
steam the face and get a towel and start squeezing, then steam face again and massage the skin... circular motions...
also.. drink water.. stop eating crap... no more dairy no more processed foods in general.. least try to cut down on that...
more fresh foods.. IE: veggies and fruits that aren't processed... not frozen, not canned but straight from the garden or the produce section.
and SWEAT! steaming is one way to sweat it out.. it removes toxins from not just the inside but out also.
and squeeze those hummers out and see if the pores can't retract and heal.
there's also blackhead removers you can get at cvs and ebay.. they're made of metal and you use it along your face by pressing against the blackhead and gently dragging the tool away from the pore using gentle pressure...
then cleanse the face, with gentle cleaners (like noxema) and let the face dry openly without adding any moisturizers or creams to the face.. until at least the face heals up and you see how your skin is going to react.
this is what one type of blackhead removers look like:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Two-NEW-Stainless-Su鈥?/a>Help with blackheads?
you should try a tca chemical peel this really worked for me you should try it, i recommend it here's a link to the website where i order products from http://www.beautyscientific.com/ they also have very effective acne product mostly peels and skin bleaching products
well, you could fix your diet in order to prevent them. but to get rid of most of them, use a blackhead peel like this one from biore: http://pics.drugstore.com/prodimg/92371/鈥?/a> that you can get from walmart or other drugstores.
They work great! I used it and it gets the blackheads from the deepest part of it. Be sure to follow the directions though.
Good luck.
Try those strip thingys form Biore... They seem 2 solve the problem for me.... or that black head eraser my cousin says that works good....
Look for a very mild facial product with Glycolic Acid. Glycolic acid can be hard on the skin, so find the lowest percentage you can. It actually softens the dried sebum and allows the blackheads to be removed. It can cause redness and irritation, so proceed with caution.
NeoStrata makes some good products. Ask the girl at the cosmetics counter for some help in selecting the right product from their line.

Blackheads :( ...... help!?
How can i naturaly get rid of blackheads?
I'm not allowed to use those strips that just pull them out.
Is there anything i could do to get rid of them naturally?Blackheads :( ...... help!?
i suffer with the same problem hun.
i always wait until i get in the shower and then i rinse my face with really hot water (as hot as you can stand, trust me) and i do that a few times until i feel like my pores are open enough and then i just go to my mirror and squeeze all the nasty stuff out. i have tried tons of the products to try and get rid of them but all of them either didnt work or made it worse. except for one. i use this really good Oil Free Acne Wash you have to use it continuesly but trust me it will work (great for acne especially) its not expensive and you can buy it at walmart. if your not sure what i am talking about it is advertised on tv by vanessa hudgens lol. i use the orange not the pink but thats just me bc i think that when they color stuff and make it scented i am always afraid the stuff will clog my pores lol (:
good luck hun
best wishes

Ok This will sound really strange but it works - You will be addicted once you see how much it works.
Clean and dry your face as you would normally.
Cut in half a cold tomato from the fridge and put it all over your face but concentrate on your problem areas.
Let it dry and you can leave it on for 15 even 20 minutes.
Then wash it off with cold water - Omg it is incredible!
Something about the mild acids in the tomato purify and get rid of the impurities that other products can't.
It reduces your pores alot. I got addicted to doing it and was doing it morning and night the cold tomato really wakes you up!
Let me know how you go - You'll love it I swear!
I am a Registered Nurse and I specialize in skin care and teen acne.
After 12 years in this profession I find that most of my patients who deal with acne or brekout problems DO NOT SEE RESULTS from commercial products sold at drung stores or the mall. They usually contain too much benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid or sulfur which tends to OVER DRY the skin and cause itching or irritations.
Also, home remedies such as lemon juice or alcohol or toothpaste SHOULD NEVER BE USED because they cause small tears in the skin and leave the skin more susceptible to bacteria that causes pimples or acne.
Your question is very broad and you need to get professional advice. I will explain why it's a broad question!
Your age plays a role! Do you always have breakouts?
However, acne can result from several factors such an increase in hormone levels. In males testosterone or androgens. In females, androgens respectively. The increase in androgen levels can stimulate the oil glands to become enlarged and thus more oil production is produced. An increased oil production can clog the pores with oil or sebum ( white thick substance) which cause the cell walls of the pores in the skin to breakdown. This process allows bacteria to form and thus breakouts develop.
Genetics may also be a cause. It is a myth that greasy food or chocolate causes breakouts.
However, using make-up sponges that are not changed or washed often can contaminate the pores with bacteria which may develop into acneic breakouts.
Teenagers going through hormonal and growth changes are prone to acne.
If you have severe breakouts than you might need medication. There are many factors.
The most important thing is that you need products that are AGE APPROPRIATE! Every age group has different products appropriate for them. If you are young than you need milder products as to not dry out your beautiful young skin.
The problem with commercial skin products is that they are manufactured for MASSES OF PEOPLE and are not specifically made for different peoples' needs.
Your skin type is different than mine and your age differs from mine so how is it logical that we both use the same skin product for breakouts. We need different strengths of cleansers and toners. Do you kind of understand what I am getting at?
Here is my STRONG SUGGESTION for you. I refer all my students and patients to this website:
www.aboutyourskincare.com
You need to consult with professionals and on this website YOU CAN ASK QUESTIONS FOR FREE AND A SKIN EXPERT/PHYSICIAN WILL ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS. It would be a shame if you dont take advantage of this free service.
Lastly, they have incredible products for breakouts and they make them specifically for every kind of skin type. That means that if your breakouts are more severe than mine, than while we both will buy the same product yours will have stronger ingredients than mine will.
They have a mild glycolic acid cleanser that's great for your type of skin and also a DRYING LOTION ( I have 3 bottles) that you put directly on your breakouts and the next day it's gone. It's truely magic in a bottle.
A basic guideline for properly taking care of your skin is this ( now if you're a young girl you will need fewer products than this):
Night time:
1. Exfoliate the skin
2. Mild Glycolic Acid Cleanser
3. Mild Glycolic Acid Toner ( cleans off the excess debris and balances the PH level of the skin).
4. Drying Lotion used only on breakouts
5. Moisturizer
Morning:
1. Mild Glycolic Acid Cleanser
2. Moisturizing cream
The above is a standard you may need to only use one or two products. Visit: www.aboutyourskincare.com
As I suggested and click on the ASK FOR FREE section send them an email and you will get free expert skin care advice.

Blackheads..HELP!!!!
i have alot of blackheads on my nose and ive tried everything(stips , cleansers)everything and they wont come out.... any advice to get them out quick?Blackheads..HELP!!!!
you know that regular washing should eventually loosen. there is no overnight cure...unless there's some kind of 'suction' machine..which at a dermatologist there may be...? have you tried steaming or steamroom? or maybe use a warm wet compress to soften your skin prior to gentle washing? Blackheads..HELP!!!!
What the skin needs is a product that clears pores and kills bacteria, thus preventing hair follicles from clogging and turning into acne. This is what you should be looking for if you want to get rid of those ugly Blackheads.
Before trying any treatment, I suggest you read this informational source that listed the most effective acne treatments available:
http://www.17acnetreatments.com
Theres an aloe vera pill, if you crush it and put it on your nose. Just use warm water it gets rid of it.. tried and tested!

My face is very dry and oily, I have acne, big pores and blackheads and very very sensitive skin. Please Help!!
I wash my face twice a day with the clinique three step program. But right after my face is red and tight (very sensitive). My make up doesn't blend properly all I want is acne free and soft skin. I'm willing to try anything. Thanks in advance :)My face is very dry and oily, I have acne, big pores and blackheads and very very sensitive skin. Please Help!!
I recommend seeing a dermatologist because you don't want to irritate your skin further by trying new products. For now, I think you should use a mild facial cleanser, like Cetaphil. My doctor recommended it to me and it's been a lifesaver. I also do NOT think you should use makeup in your situation, no matter how bad you think your acne is, you don't want it to get worse. My face is very dry and oily, I have acne, big pores and blackheads and very very sensitive skin. Please Help!!
Even though your face is oily, you should still use a moisturizer. Try to find one that is for combination skin and sensitive skin. I'm not familiar with the clinique three step program, but if it's not working for you maybe try something else? I use something with tea tree oil and it works pretty well.. It's also a good idea to eat a lot of fruits / vegetables and drink a lot of water every day. I started eating healthier and excersizing and it really does help.
Also, maybe try a different kind of makeup, because it might not be suited for your skin type. (Like are you using a liquid or a powder makeup??) Ask one of the people at the makeup counters of a department store because I'm definitely not an expert at this.. Anyways sorry I couldn't help much, but good luck : )
Accutane is the only real ';cure'; for acne available. All other creams, exfoliates, topical medication as well as oral meds must be taken indefinitely or you will start breaking out again,
You will still need a good cleansing routine, but Accutane will eliminate the cystic acne by stripping the sabacceous glands ffrom the inside. I know it is expensive--but it is so worth it. I battled acne for 20 years and when they came out with Accutane I immediately did it and have NEVER been sorry.
Find a dernatologist who is willing to put you on Accutane. It takes about 6 months, and then you will have clerar skin.
my mom has the same problem, but there's nothing she can do to get rid of it. But she does keep it under control with a few home remedies
splash your face with cold water. That closes the pores up.
Also, mix honey with cinnamon, put it on your face, leave it on(the longer the better) than just wash it off. It's a lil uncomfertable, but it helps to brighten and smooth the skin.
And for problem zits, toothpaste(not gel) drys em out. Just dab a lil bit on the zit/pimple, leave it on for the night and wash it off the next morning.
Also, tea tree oil is great! It stinks, but it works.
Than eating right foods and drinking tons of water, should clear out your system and help with your skin.
I hope some of this helped.
Good luck
I had the same problem I couldn't get rid of my pores or pimples on my face no matter what I tried until I found the neutrogena wave it made my skin so soft and so clear like there is absolutely no problems with my skin now and its only $17 at london drugs and you'll be set for two weeks worth of foaming face pads then youll gave to buy more but its so worth it.
Try organic compainies and find spot on treatment.
Try Dr. Haushka and Aubrey's organics for facial washes and toners/ mosteruizer.
Try steaming your face everynight and then applying the toner over it/acne stuff.
try the nivea toner, the pink bottle,i used clinique 3step thats great for acne but after a while it can be too harsh, the nivea toner will balance it out,a facial will help as well
You know I think proactive is really good eventhough I haven't tried it and I won't because it is really expensive so try clean and clear it's awesome.female mask

Blackheads!!! Help PLEASE!!!?
how do i get rid of black heads.?
iv tried poping them it doesnt work.
please help. thanks xxBlackheads!!! Help PLEASE!!!?
There are a few remedies which work on getting rid of blackheads, pimples and even worse conditions such as acne these are:
.Honey, especially organic-slather all over your face like a face-mask and leave Messy but your face just glows and blackheads vanish after a few hours.
.Extra virgin olive oil- also very effective in a similar way, since I've been using this as a make up remover the changes in my skin have been phenomenal.Just massage in and leave for a bit then wipe of with a cloth soaked in warm water. No more blackheads and very rarely spots plus even skin tone which is something my skin was terrible...
.Aspirin, wouldn't use this too often but a couple of tablets crushed in to paste and smeared on the skin gives amazing results too.Excellent scrub too but be gentle.
.Baking powder also works in a similar way.
A nice cleanser is also great especially for wiping of existing olive oil.
Hope these help you!Blackheads!!! Help PLEASE!!!?
I am in my mid 30's now. About 4 years ago I began to struggle with black heads as well, though I had NEVER had skin issues growing up. I researched as much as I could and found that it was difficult to find products specific to my black head problem, only acne medications in relation to skin issues and break outs. Many people do not realize that black heads fall under the ';acne'; classification, but in fact that is what it is, as I learned through research. I had been overlooking several options of products because I didn't understand that what I had was in fact ';ACNE';. From that point on I gathered information on several different skin care products. I finally decided on ProActive. It worked!!! I used it for 3 years faithfully with no recurrence of the blackheads and my skin looked beautiful again and my pore size diminished too. Last year my skin began reacting badly to the regular ProActive so I switched over to the sensitive skin formula and not only does it work, but I love it even better than the original formula that I had used for the previous 3 years. I remain faithful to this product even still. A warning though...when I first began the product my skin grew dry and red, broke out terribly, and looked and felt like leather. I was ready to throw in the towel, but after about two to three weeks all the wierd skin issues stopped and my skin was flawless. My point to you is whatever skin product you choose, DON'T give up on it before three weeks. I'm so happy now that I stuck with the it. I get comments all the time on pretty my skin looks. I sound like the commercials. :) I don't even use it like I'm suppose to either and it still works. I seriously am lazy, so I only wash once a day with it. I'm not suggesting that of course, I mean if you're going to spend the money on it you might as well get the best it can offer you too...by using it as recommended. But as I said, I'm just lazy; more like too busy to fuss over makeup and all the fun girly things that I used to take for granted in my more youthful days. Anyway, I spoke with my Aveda hair dresser and she explained that whenever you switch products you can expect to have reactions such as I did for about two or so weeks while the new product begins to work and clears out all the old issues; which usually takes an average of two weeks to work their way from deep within the skin out to the surface where they show up as pimples, blackheads, etc, before they go away. Needless to say, the WORST thing you can do is to pick at your skin and force pimples, black heads, or white heads out because what you could be doing is forcing the bacteria back down into the pore, causing it to take that much longer to work it's way out. In addition, you are causing harm to your skin that may not show up while you are young but it WILL show up in the form of scars and old looking skin as you age. I promise you, listen to the advise of those that come before you, they are right. I always heard my Mom tell me to take care of my skin when I'm young because after 30 everything goes down hill. I didn't listen AND SHE WAS RIGHT!!! That's my own personal experience, so while I can't tell you precisely what to do I certainly hope my own issue can offer you a feeling of hope because there are things that can be done to help you. FYI, there are two other products that I also really like...Youthful Essence, and Natural Advantage. Youthful Essence utilizes microdermabrasion using a spinning scrubbing sponge for the face. It's great for really cleaning out the pores, making the skin shiny and smooth, and reducing pore size. I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the moisturizer they offer, it feels so nice when I put it on my skin. Natural Advantage utilizes Retinol A; which really does a wonderful job of reducing redness and evening out skin tone while cleaning and reducing pore size and acne. Whatever you do though, DO NOT try mixing any of these products with each other as they each contain different medications that may not react well together, especially the ProActive with any Retinal A products. I used each of them at seperate times and eventually, not sure why, ended up just sticking with ProActive.
Best Wishes! :)
My blackheads went when I started using the Dermalogica skincare products. I used the Special Cleansing Gel, the clay face pack and the Daily Microfoliant and within a couple of weeks they were gone.
I tried numerous other products from the chemists - including the strips - but they didn't work and the blackheads just kept coming back.
The Dermalogica products are very good and won't irritate or overdry your skin - they don't contain the harsh chemicals which the chemist bought stuff does.
The products that the other people have recommended will only work temporarily and will result in sore skin if you keep using them. The strips do remove some of the blackheads, but they'll return a couple of days later and you'll have to start all over again. You need to get to the root of the problem and deal with what's causing them in the first place rather than just keep trying to remove them. You'll end up with enlarged pores if you keep using the strips.
Try a couple of Dermalogica products for a few weeks and you'll notice a difference. They do cost a little more than the chemist bought stuff, but they last for ages and you can always just buy the small amounts to begin with to see how you get on. I pay 拢16 for the Daily Microfoliant and about 拢25 for the wash, but they last about 8 weeks. My friend got me onto these products a few weeks before my wedding and I'd never go back to using anything else now.
I have blackheads all the time, and I find that scrubbing the areas with a strong scrub helps because it cleans the pores.
As well as scrubbing you could try using a wet strip that you put onto the area. Brands that make these strips include Nivea and Biore.
(the brand name does not make much of a difference, so you can just buy the cheapest one)
You can buy a blackhead remover for about $3.00 at any store(it's metal and has a hole at each end different sizes) walgreens/walmart/riteaid/cvs etc. The only issue i would say with using it is if you press and its not ready to be removed you'll have a red dot for alil bit and it'll be sore. My neice had a bad issue with them my sister bought her a really good cleaner. Hope I helped.
yeah get a nose strip, u can also use it on other parts of ur face if u need it
you just wet it and in 10 minutes it'll turn hard and you just peel it of
i did one yesterday, n i had literally a hundred blackheads come out
This should help for blackheads. Rub oatmeal paste on face, leave it to dry for 15 minutes and scrub well before washing off with cold water. Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.
nose strips =]
you apply them wet, and then they harden over time. when you peel them off the black heads are removed.
tape/band-aid mentality behind them. work quite well!
Dont pop them..That just makes it worse..
dont touch your face at all...Your fingers have germs and oil on them.
Go to a dermatologist.
They will prescribe you something to clear it all up.
Take a vacuum and suck them out
iv tried poping them it doesnt work.
please help. thanks xxBlackheads!!! Help PLEASE!!!?

.Honey, especially organic-slather all over your face like a face-mask and leave Messy but your face just glows and blackheads vanish after a few hours.
.Extra virgin olive oil- also very effective in a similar way, since I've been using this as a make up remover the changes in my skin have been phenomenal.Just massage in and leave for a bit then wipe of with a cloth soaked in warm water.
Take a vacuum and suck them out
Blackheads.. HELP! cant squeeze them...?
i hav blackheads on my nose... but i cant squeeze them.
i just cant! lol

xBlackheads.. HELP! cant squeeze them...?
you shouldn't try to squeeze them because that could leave scars.take a steamy shower or something then was your face then splash cold water on your face do this 2 times per day and it should help.here is how it helps
1.the steam opens your pores
2.then when you clean it it gets to dirt out.
3.the cold water closes them and keeps dirt out
hope that helpsBlackheads.. HELP! cant squeeze them...?
It's prolly good you cant! Even though squeezing can remove them, it can also end up irritating your skin.
Try Biore Pore Strips. You wash your face (helps to exfoliate too), then wet your nose, then put on the strip. You wait a little while and then pull the strip off, and it pulls out all the blackheads. My nose always ends up especially oily for a while after this, i think because the pores are no longer blocked up. LOL. Here's a link to the product. You can get it at any drugstore, and probably walmart, target, and the supermarket.
http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a鈥?/a>
nothing will remove your blackheads. no scrubs or facial will remove it. the only thing that really works is the nose strips that you stick on your nose and remove after it gets harden. you can try any brand. i've been using biore for many many many years. i've tried other brands and they work the same. It's not cheap but it's better than walking around with blackhead in your pores.
Get a black head remover. Here's what they look like.http://www.widgetsupply.com/scissors/cos鈥?/a>
You get them in the nail clipper %26amp; eyebrow section of your local drug store. CVS and s*!t.
wash your face with hot water, or right after you get out of the shower is the best time to get them out because thats when your pores are opened up. I like clean and clear blackhead remover scrub, works really well.

GET RID OF BLACKHEADS HELP PLEASE!?
How can I get rid of blackheads without using a cleanser or stuff like it? I tried squeezing them, but then my nose starting peeling and it didn't do anything. White stuff came out but there are still blackheads! Please help! What can I do?!?! Thanks! :DGET RID OF BLACKHEADS HELP PLEASE!?
-Steaming+Nose strips:
Fill sink with hot/warm water. Put your face above it, but not touching, and let the steam hit your face. You could cover your head with a towel, sort of like making a ';tent'; for more steam to get to your face. Do this for about 10 minutes.
Afterwards, use Biore Pore strips. The steam opens up the pores in order for the strips to work better.
-lemon
squeeze lemon juice, put on q-tip, and rub onto blackhead affected area. It may tingle a little. Keep on for 15-30 minutes, no longer because lemon can lighten your skin. Lemon can dissolve the dirt in the pore. Wash it off with warm water.
-mud/clay mask+toner
Mud/clay masks are great for absorbing excess oil/dirt off your skin. Put a thin layer, and keep it on until it dries. Then wash it off, using circular finger motions, with warm water. Use a toner afterward (Do not use one with alcohol. Apple cider vinegar or diluted witch hazel is the best.) with a cotton pad to rub off all the excess mud/dirt off your face that the water could have missed.GET RID OF BLACKHEADS HELP PLEASE!?
Why can't you use a cleanser or stuff? You could hold your face over a steaming bowl of water for a 10-15 minutes, or take an equally long bath or shower (not too hot, though, or it will dry out your skin), to loosen the plugs. Buy a blackhead extractor at a beauty store or the cosmetics counter at the drugstore; don't squeeze.
You really need to use a salicylic acid product every day because it's not convenient to steam your face or take long baths all the time. Salicylic acid has the ability to penetrate into the pore to exfoliate inside it, as well as exfoliate the surface of the skin to remove dead skin cells that clog pores. Biore strips are ineffective at best, and probably just plain bad for your skin.
In order to maintain your skin regiment, try loosening pores with steam. You can do that every 2 weeks if you don't want to use additional products. Get a face cloth that has a soft texture and use it to extract the blackheads. They should become easy to extract after around 15 minutes of steam. If not wait around a bit more.
You use the face cloth since nails tend to break the skin which causes blemishes and poor healing. Hold the cloth as if pinching with both hands and extract. You can also find a less awkward position to use if this hand position is cumbersome.
Remember to cleanse your face at least twice a day even if it's just with water to remove excess oil produced by the skin.
Dude! black heads are actually tiny ingrown hair, it comes to pple who hve oily skin and expose to pollution. you do a monthly clean up.. no home remedy works other than a clean up. Drink lots of water and splash water on face frequently. and have a routine of cleansing and scrubbing. i recommend you a cream Tretinoin cream usp( Tretin 0.025 % ) use it on nose regularly b4 sleep. initially you may feel some peeling, irritation or change in colour. bt dont worry its safe. after using it for a long run you will find a extreme difference. Hope this help you. Take care. Bye!
When I get black heads on my nose I use the Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips.
You wet your nose, stick it on, leave it for 10-15 minutes, it'll harden like paper mache, then pull it off from both ends.
It stings for a few seconds, but the blackheads are totally sucked out and your pores are unclogged. You can even see them on the strip.
just wash your face every day
but dont touch your face with your bare hands because the oil on your hands will go on your face making your nose more oily
Use a cleamser or exfoliant which helps remove blackheads . Cheap and easy ! Dont touch your face either ,
i have the same problem.

Blackheads......HELP...?!?
i exfoliate 5 times a week but my blackheads r realllllly deep! i also used clean and clear but didnt work and then i used strips but it only made the holes bigger and now the blackheads r getting big.....HELP?!Blackheads......HELP...?!?
Exfoliating 5 times a week is a little much. You should only exfoliate 2 to 3 times a week at the most. If you over do it, it can cause your skin to become inflamed and produce more oil. When your skin produces more oil it causes your pores to become clogged resulting in more blackheads and pimples. You should go and get an acne facial and get them professionally extracted. That should run you anywhere from $75-$100. If you can you should also go see a dermatologist so he/she can give you a retin-A cream like Differin.Blackheads......HELP...?!?
Go to a dermatologist and they'll give you something that will cure your blackheads.

But i use Biore blackhead strips.
They make them for your nose and for under your eyes/cheekbone.
You wet the area, put the strip on, leave it for 15 minutes, and peel it off.
After I peel mine off I can always see the blackheads on the strip.
It really works for me.

I'm an Aesthetician and to get control of your blackheads you should cleanse your face 2 times with warm water to open up and soften your pores. I sometimes do this in the shower because the warm steam helps. Use an exfoliant to remove dead skin cells then cleanse again. Then you need to just buy an Extractor. That's what we use to remove blackheads when you get a facial and they are like 2 bucks at the most. Apply slight pressure in a circular motion around the pore and they will just come right out. Just remember to not press to hard or you will damage your skin structure. Each area you extract from apply a little toner or antiseptic to kill any bacteria. Also apply some to your extractor so you don't spread the bacteria. Afterwards apply mask and moisturizer and your set. It's an at home facial!!!
The regular pads wont. If you use something like the wave that vibrates, it penetrates deeper and removes the dirt and makeup resideues that eventually lead to blackheads. It also works gradually on taking out other previous blackheads. HOpe this helps! Good Luck!

no, they really don't. they are ok to clean the face, also they are very harsh on sensitive skin. They do leave the skin feeling cool
but to remove lack heads i have to use St Ives scrub
i cant tel you that for sure but ive used the neutrogena blackhead eliminating treatment mask and it works miracles after only a couple minutes on it eliminates most blackheads.
They're okay, but they're not fantastic.

!!! Blackheads...HELP !!!?
I kinda have a lot of blackheads and I was wondering what the best product would be to use in your opinion. I don't have sensitive skin and I don't want to be spending a fortune on the product. Any suggestions? Success stories are more than welcome =)
Cheers!!! Blackheads...HELP !!!?
Hey blackheads are just dirt trapped in your pores!
Try this it might help!
Try cleansing twice a day every day as it helps remove all the dirt of your skin.
After you cleanse use a toner - this will help close up the pores on your face and afterwards just use a moisturiser over the top!
Also try exfoliating every week depending on your skin type.
If you have an oily skin try doing it about 3 times a week but if you have dry or sensitive skin do it once a week!
Try to use one with softer granules, you dont need to have it feeling harsh!
If you dont want to spend much on products you could always go into boots or superdrug and pick up there own makes for about 拢1 each. They all have to do the same thing!
Personally i would reccomend a brand called dermologica as they use natural and unperfumed products in there products all the smells are there naturally! The only downside is that its expensive!
I don't use it as it doesnt agree with my skin!
I use the simple collection, which are about 拢3 to 拢4 a product - depends where you buy them. nearly everywhere sells them.
To remove black heads try doing it after you've had a hot shower or bath, the heat opens up the pores making them easier to remove!
Never use your finger nails as you will damage the skin!
Put your fingers either side of one, push down and strecth the skin out and then wiggle your fingers and push upwards. This will encourage the blackhead to come out and you will not be breaking the skin in the process!
Also try to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. not only is this good for your skin and insides it also helps flush the system with any toxins in your body!
Goodluck!!!! Blackheads...HELP !!!?
Wash your face gently twice a day with something that's not too strong (stripping your skin will cause it to produce more oil)- Clean and Clear do a range specifically for reducing blackheads. If exfoliating isn't helping, try steaming your skin- hot water in a bowl with a towel over your head for up to ten minutes (but don't get so close to the water that the steam burns your skin). If you moisturise, use something for oily/combination skin that won't block your pores. Also change your bedlinen at least once a week, to prevent oil building up and getting pressed back into your skin. You can get a small metal tool from the Body Shop that you press over blackheads to clear them, but it's not brilliant as often you can end using too much force and are left with red marks/bruises on your skin, so if you decide to try that be gentle.
I had it too... I used a good product, in spanish is called ';谩cido retin贸ico';... it was the only product which helped me with that... i don't know how is in english.. i think ';retinoic acid';... sorry man, I don't know exactly
if you get it.. just apply it on night and the next morning use sun block!!!! this is very important!!!
oohh.. other thing... the masturtbation is just a myth, in fac, it helps 'cos reduce the stress... and do some exercise, it helps too!
Go to walgreens or CVS and look where you buy face washing stuff and find balckhead strips. What you do is just stick them on your nose and they feel like tape on your nose. And you get it wat then once in dries peel it off and the blick heads come off with it.
It works so much better than all of the balckhead cleaners and soo much faster.
And thats my story...lol
it helped when i got into my 20's and stopped being stressed.
But can recommend drinking bit more water, bit more beer and dont smoke and use a good shower and shower gel..i.e addidas after-sport. good showers do help and get one in morning and evening if you can find the time
use realemon juice.
Apply some over blackheads before going to bed and wash with cool water in the morning, within a week u should see a difference.
Exfoliate 1-2 times a week, no more.
I use Dermalogica's Skin Prep Scrub.
It got rid of all my blackheads within a week or two (also have a skin regime - cleanse, tone and moisturise every morning %26amp; night) x
Clay masks used regularly helps pull out trapped oil and dead skin.Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.
if you don't want to use the pore strips, use ';pure pores';
they work very well

Pimple/Acne/blackheads help!?
OK i have really really bad acne.. just on my forehead.. or yeah and blackheads.
Unfortunately, the oblivious me started popping my pimples because i just can't help it.
I know now that I am not SUPPOSED to pop my pimples... but I already have!! So What can I dO?
And also any tips/advices on how to remove pimples?Pimple/Acne/blackheads help!?
Proactive doesn鈥檛 work for all people and its expensive
Things to do to help oily face, pimples, blackhead %26amp; the such....
1.) Dont ever pick/pop them... If you must pop them wait till they have a head and use cotton balls. Popping causes the oil %26amp; bacteria to go to near by spots and cause more pimples
2.) Wash your face twice a day.
3.) Do not over wash your face.
4.) Get a natural soap that contains Tea Tree EO. I get mine at:
http://www.itsyoursoap.com/index.php?mai鈥?/a>
Tea Tree EO kills all the nasty bacterias that causes pimples. A plus this soap doesnt smell girly. Smells like peppermint and cools the skin.
5.) Also get a astringant. But use it only every other day because you do not want to send the oil producing pores into overdrive.
If you follow these things for a few weeks your skin will look great
Just remeber this dry dry skin looks old and worn. You face needs oil to look youthfulPimple/Acne/blackheads help!?
Pimple creams seem to work well in removing pimples but if you're looking for long term solutions, a good one is to keep your stress levels low ; sleep early, drink more water etc.
You should also try to eat less fried foods and dairy products - especially cheese. Dairy products seem to aggravate acne sufferers. Note i mentioned sleep EARLY. So its not just the duration of your sleep, but the timing. Somehow pimple magnitude reduces when you sleep early. It has probably to do with your body's biological clock.
Removing Pimples Tip- Wash your Face every night I know it's not new and modern but It works, wash your face every night. The morning after first night you wash it, you may have more pimples beause it's clearing it all out. But if you keep washing it night after night they will get smaller and smaller, and then disappear.
Also try not to touch your face all the oils on your hands may cause you to get pimples.
everyone should start off with a regimen first of all.
wash your face with a good cleanser: something that will contain
salycrylic acid, or BP benzoyl peroxide.
then moisterize (this is the most important PART, it keeps your skin from getting dry and oily) with something like the above.
next you need a spot treatment: i recommend tea tree oil.
which will stop pimples in their tracks.
but tea tree oil will also make a good cleanser.
Apply a paste made of nutmeg powder and raw milk on pimples and wash it off after 20 minutes. Do it for about 10-15 days to see the difference. More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/ Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.
I use proactiv, it may be expensive, but it works! If I were you i would go and buy proactiv at the mall or something and use it! It will even make the ones you've already popped go away too, cuz im the same way! if i have a zit or something on my face I always pick at it! And then it jut makes it easier to notice! so,if ur like me, just put some neosporen on it, so it doesnt leave a scar!
last week i purchased an acne product called clearpores from www.onlineacnestore.com i have already recieved my treatment and i cant believe it my acne is seriouly nearly gone. I have tried treatment after treatment and this really works.
Get Proactiv. I know it's a little expensive but it works and the bottles actually last longer than they say they will. It's the only thing that works for me. You could save some money buy buying it on ebay or another online place, just make sure it says the bottles are unexpired and factory sealed.
http://www.proactiv.com/order/select.php鈥?/a>
Wash your face with good old normal Ivory soap. Doctors tell you not to use it because it will dry out your skin but that is exactly what you want.
don't squeeze it with your finger. use a needle to pop the ones that is ';Ripe'; ! Alway wash your face after the pop because of possible contaminant from your hands, needle, etc...
dont touch ur face unless ur hands r clean
wash @ least twice a day with a salycilic acid or benzoyl peroxide cleanser
EXFOLIATE!!
wear sunblock!
Peanut Butter.
And cat food.
ummm....
wash your face every night
get a face clenser... do that once a week
some poeple can pop zits and some cant(i can)
... that is about it
Proactive or clearsil, preferably proactive it gets rid of the scares in like one week. NO JOKE
pop them on your face, then clean and scrub your face.

Zits and blackheads help!!!
I have a lot of zits and like about a month ago i started to get blackheads it is gross!!! How do i make them go away??? Nothing seems to work!!! What do i do?!?!?!?Zits and blackheads help!!!
Go to the store, and buy Garnier Nutritioniste ';microbeads cleanser'; and use it twice a day (You'll find it by the facial cleansers like Boire etc).
After using that for about a week, and your blackheads / zits clear up a bit, use Cetaphil twice a day regularly, and supplement your beauty routine with the microbeads cleanser (it's in a tube).
You can also 'steam' your face and then gently pry apart the blackheads, but that can be dangerous doing it on your own, so in that case, a professional facial / extraction could be another option (about $40 in most places, depending on your geographical location).

I have blackheads....help!?
i have tiny little blackheads on my nose and middle of my chin. i am very desperate to get rid of them asap. please help!I have blackheads....help!?
heres 2 things that u can try
1.if u have neosportion(hopefully i spelled it right if not its the stuff u put on cuts)put it on the zits and cover with a band aid sleep with that on over night
2.get toothpaste put it on ur zits and again sleep with it over night
this will cause the zits to down size like get smaller and it will help it so it doesn't hurt.
also if u have blackheads get a cloth soak it in hot water and keep pressing it against ur face for about 5 to 10 minutes if the(through the 5 to ten minutes do as u like u can keep wetting it after that u can pop the blackheads after that it might be bloody so make sure to wash ur hands!scrub ur face after.
also i just remembered if u have dry skin or blackheads like i was sayin' if u have just normal kids glue like elemers or whatever put the glue over them just a thin layer.it works like a charm with dry skin just wait for the glue to dry and then peel it off.i mean with the blackheads it didn't work for them coming off but it made my face SOFT
These are either free or 5 to 10 dollars very cheap Good luck with ur acneI have blackheads....help!?
Ok I SWEAR this works. Get some PVA craft glue, and apply a generous amount to your skin, and wait for it to turn clear to peel it off.
Try using Apricot Scrub for blemish %26amp; blackheads. Use it twice a day (morning %26amp; night) for about 2-3 days. After that you can just use the scrub once a day along with a facewash %26amp; a moisturizer. I would recommend Clean %26amp; Clear Continous Control Acne Wash as a facewash. For a moisturizer, try Ponds Cream for Dry Skin. It is hypoallergenic and it won't clog your pores.I put 5 dots of cream on my face (cheeks, forehead, chin %26amp; nose). This worked great for me. I could see a difference in my face after about a week. I hope this works for you as well as it did for me. A flawless face is coming your way.Good Luck!

Have you tried using a regime without fail twice a day?
Acne face wash, toner and spot treat with acne cream?
At the end of the day a hot compress to pull out dirt/bacteria.
An acne shampoo (by proactive)
if all has failed it's time to see a skin doctor and get on some really strong medication - good luck.
you can use natural CTM (Clencer, Toner and Moiturature) available in market. you can use this for your home itself. and also you need to take more vitamin E contain food.
Try asking the doctor to prescribe you to benzaclyne (I may not be spelling it right)... It's a acne medication that I had used after years of other failed attempts with getting rid of my acne with other products, even proactiv. I used Benzaclyne for maybe 2 weeks if that and my face cleared right up!! it's a small jar but a little diffidently goes a long way. You shouldn't have to see a dermatologist for it, I got it from my regular physician.

Help with blackheads only 14?
Hi i have quite a few black heads in my chin and nose and i have tried nose strips picking them out? just wondering if you know what would be the best thing to use?
ThanksHelp with blackheads only 14?
A really good way to clean your pores is to steam your face and then wash it. To remove blackheads I suggest OXY pads which I use myself. Make sure to be careful with them and be sure to keep them away from your eyes.Help with blackheads only 14?
im 14 too[:
you cld washe your face twice a day.
ive used the nose strips too O_o
ive been wanting to get a facial, heard those work wonders :P
Neutrogena %26amp; other brands sell face washes tht eliminate black heads too.
you just hav eto test each one, until you find the right one tht works for you,i personally like the face washes[:
While many people would suggest medicated wipes or ointments, I would strongly suggest that you gently wash your face with witch hazel (you can put it on a cotton ball and wipe). Continue to wash your face daily with a non abrasive soap but witch hazel is an astringent that will get deep into the pores and clean them. If the problem continues, seek help from a dermatologist.
Nose strips are good as long as you use them every week.
Make sure you use a facial wash that deals with blackheads too and use very cold water after every time you wash your face to close the pores and stop any muck getting in to form the blackheads.
I don't know any products but i do not have any spots or anything because i Just don't think about it. i am a stress free girl, that way i don't get spots. good luck!
Long distance mirror!
Sorry couldn't resist. But seriously I heard vinegar in good for spots, including blackheads. Use cotton wool and dab some on them before you go to bed each night.
Good luck
It's called clearasil. :)

Large pores, oily skin and too many blackheads...help me!?
i have extremely large pores and oily skin. i also have alot of blackheads. help me...what can i do?Large pores, oily skin and too many blackheads...help me!?
make sure you cleanse ur face everyday with oil free makeup remover even if you didnt wore any makeup for the day
By doing this this will clean your pores better
after so...cleanse your face will a facial scrub
after your face is cleanse apply liquid lotion...keep it hydrated
then..moisturizer to keep its moisture
always keep your skin hydrated so your skin doesnt have to excret too much oil from your skin.. In the long run if your face is dry your pores will be stretched by the excretion of the oil...ending up with huge pores..Large pores, oily skin and too many blackheads...help me!?
Use clay packs once in a week as it reduces the pores and helps oily skin also .Cucumber juice is a natural toner .Mix cucumber juice with a little rose water and a few drops of fresh lemon juice .Soak cotton in it and apply this on your face .Wash it off after 20 minutes .
I have the same problem and these are the products that I use. Also be sure to apply sunscreen every day (before putting on makeup). Good luck!

Blackheads??Help!!?
how can i get rid of them on my noseBlackheads??Help!!?
Have you tried those Pore cleansing strip? You put it on your nose and leave it for a few minutes and then take it off and it unclogs your pores. Try them. You can find them at any drugstore. You could also just GENTLY squeeze them. It's what I do. Just use a tissue and gently press and get that yucky stuff out of there! I'd also recommend using Proactiv. It really is remarkable even if you don't have really bad acne.Blackheads??Help!!?
I heard ';The Wave'; Works pretty good, other than that, if you go to anystore that sells make-up, they should also carry a line of blackhead romovale cream, it's something you put on before you go to bed and wash off in the morning. That works great for me.
Hope I Helped.

i really hate them! well who doesn't? anyway does Clearasil blackhead strub work? i've tried everything else and it doesn't workBlackheads? help meeee?
Number one - wash your face really well every night before you go to bed. Number two, don't eat a lot of greasy foods. You'll be amazed at the results.Blackheads? help meeee?
clearasil blackhead stuff has average effectiveness, but if u want something thats really good, use st. ives apricot scrub often enough and your face will look great. (that along with any face wash ofcourse)
take it from me, former big-time blackhead host:)
No product will work you need to take action!
1: best method is facial steaming, remove blackhead then with cotton wool ball.
2: blackhead tool, its got 2 loops on each side, it removes blackheads in less than 5 secs!!!
does it not work?
ooowww.. was gonna get that.
Buy it.. and see if it does.

well i have tried everything to remove my blackheads and the only thing that works is if you go to your local chemist or drugstore and ask if they sell a blackhead remover it is a little metal thing with a hole at the top. then everytime after you have a shower or bath or your face is steamed use it to remove the blackheads. the bit with the hole in it takes the blackheads out so easily and you will be able to see them and will know its working.
it only hurts if your face is dry or has not been steamed.
cheaper than all the other products to.
good luck

i have got blackheads i have tryed clean and clear blackhead toner and it dont work some one help plz !!!!!!!Blackheads help ???
I have the same problem. I also tried the cleanser you mention, expecting that it would actually do something but it had zero effect. I accidentally came across something that seems to keep them less obtrusive: tea tree oil facial wipes. I dont know how it works but my blackheads are much improved. The other thing I did was get a facial done that was aimed at removing them. The beautician smeared on some lotion stuff, and then used steam treatment to open the pores, and then squeezed them out....it hurt like hell but it did the trick for a few months.Blackheads help ???
Nose-Stips, try T-zone.
Despite what everyone says, actually squeezing them is the fastest and effective way of getting them out. Yeah, do steam do open your pores, then have a go at popping the lil suckers out. The thing is, its actually your nails, cutting into your skin that cause nearly all the damage. Using a special tool, or squeezing the skin around the area with your fingertips, will eventually break the pressure. you should be left with little hard nucleas of dirt, with some stringy white stuff, just grab that between your fingernails and pull, just pull all the dirt out. Less than a day later, should be no redness, or swelling, if youve done it right.
Try those blackhead strips by Ponds. You put them on and they actually pull the blackheads out.
Use blackhead and pore clearing strips. They will pull all the little sods out and are easy to use. I recommend the brand t-zone. Good luck x
Use something with an active ingredient Benzyol Peroxide. Proactive's products have it in there's. I recommend Clinique's Emergency Gel it has 5% and Proactive has only 2.5% as you build your strength up you can use Glytone's 10% (which is the strongest) I use Clinique's 3-Step twice a day and put my Emergency Gel just on my nose and I am Blackhead Free.
A blackhead is a plug of dry, dehydrated sebum (your skin's natural lubricant) that gets ';stuck in your pores on the way out of your skin due to several reasons:
1. Lack of water in your system
2. Excess dead cells blocking the opening to the pore
3. Excess Oil being Produced by you
4. Improper cleansing routine, oil not being removed
5. Products / makeup you are using (or not using)!.

Believe it or not, gently squeezing blackheads is an effective method of removal. Before you squeeze, you’ve got to loosen the blackheads to make removal easier. Heat is a good way to loosen up the blackhead. Either steam the face, or hold a warm compress against the blackheads. If using a compress, first prepare a mixture of warm water, iodine and Epsom salt and then use the mixture to moisten the compress. Once the blackheads are loosened, press the compress gently against the loosened blackheads until the pus pulls free.
If using fingers, wrap them in tissue or gauze and then squeeze. If you’d rather, you can use a blackhead remover. This is a specially-designed tool with a different-sized opening at each end. Place one of the open ends atop the blackhead and push lightly. The pus should come right out.
However, an even better way to deal with blackheads is to keep them from developing in the first place. Wash acne-prone areas twice daily using soap and warm water. Use a product containing benzyl peroxide if your skin can handle it. In addition to washing blackhead-prone areas, also use a mud mask to deep clean your pores.
Exfoliating your skin is also an effective way of keeping blackheads under control. This removes the dead skin cells so they can’t clog the pores. Exfoliate several times a week, if your skin can tolerate this. And finally, keep hands and hair away from areas prone to blackheads. The dirt will only make matters worse.

try Biore pore strips...they work really well. they pull the black heads right out.
when cleaning your face....use warm water to open up your pores and get the dirt out. when you are done, finish with a splash of cold water to close your pores and prevent dirt from getting in.
use something with salicylic acid in it. it will take about a year for them to all go away, but just use concealer in the meantime.
I use biore nose/face strips every week. You can see the blackheads it pulls out... kinda gross but it works. I also like proactiv... it works great! I would also suggest finding a scrub and mask that you like... i personally use biore but that's up to you. Before using the strips or whatever product you choose, put a hot washcloth over your face, the steam will open up your pores. Then use the strips or other products to clean out your pores. Then use an ice cube or cold washcloth on your face to close your pores up temporarily. It takes time but a consistent schedule will be your best bet in the long run. I used proactiv for about 2 weeks straight (morning and night) before my face actually got completely clear and stayed that way! Good Luck! :)
DOVE SOAP AND FACIAL CLEANSERS!!
Pore strips really help to reduce the size of the pores..I think wash that contains sand helps a lot along with the pore strips that reduce the pore size.White heads are a different thing
Buy a blackhead remover from the Body Shop to squeeze them out.
try proactive it works really really good!!!!!me and all my friends used it and all my blackheads and acne disappeared and it never came back.
proactive solution 20 bucks worked for me
all you really need to do is exfoliate properly and regularly and you shouldnt have any problems. i have them too and it helps me :)
i have them to use a blackhead removal strip once a week or put spot cream on the effected area for a few days that might work
Agree with Emmylou. Dermalogica is fantastic. I started having spots at the age of 30---yes 30, after never having had teenage spots. I couldn't find anything that helped and then I read about one of the soap stars using Dermalogica. I have never looked back. I also treat myself once a month to a facial and the beautician uses all their range. I love the Special Cleasing Gel and Active Moist moisturiser. You could try their facial scrub aswell and also try a steam treatment to open up your pores and try and gently squeeze the little blighters out. Half fill a bowl with HOT water and put your head over it under a towel. Stay there for about 10 minutes to open your pores and then have a gentle squeeze. Not too hard or you will scar. Some of them will come out easily but you might have to invest in something like Dermalogica for the stubborn ones. Try www.youbeauty.net for cheaper prices than shopping on the high street. Good luck!
Hi, I actually read this really good article about natural tips for blackhead removal, you'll find more useful information there I'm sure, I did
http://www.carefair.com/Skincare/Natural…
Use Oil Cleansing Method [OCM].
With OCM most people start with a 50:50 mix of Extra Virgin Olive Oil : Castor Oil, which most people have in their homes already. The EVOO is moisturizing where as Castor Oil is cleansing – some people will use other oils (I personally use nothing but Jojoba oil, similar to skins natural oils and healing) and will change the mix to perhaps 75:25 or 25:75 depending on their skin type (i.e. if your prone to blackheads use more caster oil to cleanse), and some will also add essential oils such as lavender or tea tree oil (both help prevent and treat spots) – one advantage of OCM is that it is totally customisable so if your skin type changes, as it does very often, you can change the mix to suit your skin.
You put the oil onto your face, then take a facecloth that has been into hot water and rung out and put the facecloth onto your face, leave the facecloth on your face for a minute so it is similar to steaming your face to open up your pores, then wipe off the oil – follow with a toner to help clean off any small excess oil and tighten your pores after they have been opened by the heat of the facecloth.
Reason it works is because it does not strip your skin of it's natural oils – when you wash your face with washes or soap it strips the natural oils that help keep your skin healthy and help keep your pores clean, so your skin is not only not as healthy as it should be but your skin also produces a load more oil to make up for all it has lost.
Reason for OCM being so good is not only is it VERY good for your skin, but it is also very customisable, cheap, easy to get a hold of, easy to use, does not support animal testing (as many commercial products do) and does not contain a load of toxic chemicals (as many commercial products do).
http://www.purehenry.com/ocm.htm
http://www.moogoo.com.au/category13_1.ht…
http://community.livejournal.com/natural…
I personally use OCM to help with hormonal break-outs and bad blackheads, spot treatments did nothing in fact if anything they made my spots worse and did nothing for my black heads, I switched to using jojoba oil rather than the EVOO:CO mix as I discovered jojoba oil is closer to the skins natural sebum also a lot lighter than EVOO, I also found on switching that the jojoba oil works better for healing existing acne scaring.
Before using OCM not only were my spots a lot worse but my skin was very oily around my nose and prone to flaking, I also had blackheads around my mouth that seemed to have been there for decades and were very deep. OCM stopped the flaking and made my face feel like a baby's bottom rather than an oil slick, my skin improved within just a week of using OCM and I now have no black heads at all – I promise OCM works wonders!
A steam is also really good, all you need is some really hot water and a towel; stick your head over the steaming hot water with the towel over your head for ten minutes – this will help open up pores making it easier for the dirt and oil to come out, preventing black heads and making it easier for you to remove black heads.
The pore clearing strips are fantastic as well, these are strips you wet and put onto your face, after a few minutes you pull them off and they pull the dirt and blackheads out of the pores – I'd recommend steaming your face first to open pores and make it easier for the strips to do their job. I would also recommend buying Bioré pore clearing strips as well, they are expensive but worth it, where as the cheaper brands tend not to work as well and leave sticky stuff on your skin. http://www.biore.com/usa/products/produc…
Another good idea is to get a blackhead removing tool, these make it a lot easier to remove the blackheads without causing them to become infected and turn into spots. If you do just remove them yourself then be sure that your skin is clean, steam your face before hand (this is also where OCM comes in very handy as it helps loosen the blackheads making them easier to remove) and put a single layer of toilet paper or tissue over your fingers to avoid adding to the oil or adding dirt to the skin. Squeeze gently and do not force them or try to dig them out.
Homemade face packs are also a good idea; pineapple is a good one to use, as is banana, homemade are best because unlike mask you buy in stores these do not contain harmful chemicals that can harm your skin.
Homemade face masks - http://www.makeyourowncosmetics.com/reci…
Make sure to exfoliate, a cheap way of doing this is using apple cider vinegar or using baking soda in small amounts to scrub without drying out the skin, moisturiser is also vital as a lot of people with spots miss out on this under the impression that it will make things worse, but a moisturiser is a good thing!
use a brand called dermalogica, there cleanser called dermal clay cleanser is very good for blackheads and they also do a gel called medicated clearing gel that you put on at night. Always make sure thet you remove all makep and do a double cleanse morning and night. try to use non-comedogenic makeup which means it doesnt block the pores. 2 brands that do this make up are bare escentuals and jane iredale. dermalogica also do a non-comedogenic foundation.

-Make a lotion with equal parts of lime juice, almond oil and glycerin and apply on the face. It will not only cure blackheads but the discoloring spots on the face too.
-Beat an egg white.
Add 1 tsp honey.
With a cotton swab apply on the face and leave for half an hour.
Rinse with warm water and pat it dry.
-Rinse your face with warm water to open your pores.
Generously saturate a section of washcloth with olive or almond oil.
Place a dab of toothpaste (not the gel kind) on the oily washcloth.
Gently and thoroughly rub the toothpaste over your nose with the oily cloth. Do it twice if you have a lot of blackheads.
Massage it into your whole face if you like. Add more oil or toothpaste as necessary.
Wait about 5 minutes, then rinse your face thoroughly with hot water and a clean washcloth.
-Use creams containing AHA's (Alpha Hydroxyl Fruit acids) like glyco-creams that will clear away any dead skin cells and ';expose'; the blackhead. Use the AHA's every 3 days or so.

Blackheads help anyone?
does anyone know a good face product or home remidi to get rid of blackheadsBlackheads help anyone?
Can't beat washing your face and or lean over a steam bath until your face and the pores are soft. The, using a blackhead extractor or your nails, carefully remove them one by one.
Blackheads are only pores filled with fat and then dirt laden over the top. Gentle scrubbing each night will help. Nothing you buy will do it alone. It takes gentle care on your part as well.
Hope this helps.Blackheads help anyone?
Oily skin and clogged pores are the main culprit of blackheads. Refer to http://www.amazingacnecure.com/blackhead鈥?/a> for tips on how to treat and prevent blackheads.
Biore makes these strips that you wet and then put on your face. When they dry you peel them off and they pull the dirt out of your pores. They aren't cheap but work pretty well! Try them and maybe follow with an astringent like SeaBreeze.
are blackheads those dots on my nose??
cuz i have them too and i scrub and it don't come out so gave up :P

Blackheads...help!?
Hey guys a week ago or two i just washed my face i didnt wash it with warm water to open up the pores then clean them and then with cold water to close them...i just started doing that and it seems as if i have more blackheads...its like their coming to the surface....um is it suppost to be like this?Blackheads...help!?
you have to use sometihng to exfliate your skin. this will gentally take the layer of bad skin off when the cream/face wash exfoliates it (like St Ives Apricot Scrub). also use an astringent like clean n clear with it everyday. wash your face twice a day but use the exfoliating cream once a day or a few times a week. if your skin tends to get dry, use a moisturizing cream. you will ber surpised to see how clear you complexion will look. one more thing, stay away from fired food for awhile that means french fires too. good luck.Blackheads...help!?
Check the quality of your water supply. Maybe you are allergic or something. But more likely, its Holiday nerves and/or Holiday treats causing a reaction.
I have an acne cure that has won me the best answer three times. Each time, the person said it worked great. I'll copy and paste it below.
Use a hot compress on it, and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.

Look, no one is perfect. Granted, genes make some people look like pepperoni pizzas whilst other look like the stepped off the cover of ';Vogue';, but its not your fault you have pimples. Always remember your true friends don't care what you look like, and that inner beauty is more important, whether your a girl or guy. There's a site for young girls; www.freewebs .com/reelbeauty11 , but it has great tips on there that can work for anyone.
Check your habits. Do you prop up your chin with your hands? Thats asking for chin zits. Clean your specs often so you won't get pimples on the bridge of your nose.
Don't pop them! If you want them to go away, make a paste of baking soda and water and dab it on the zit, then go to sleep. In the morning it should be dried up. Also, toothpaste or honey works for some people, but its not recommended.
Every other day, use normal table salt and water to wash your face. The salt will scratch the dead skin off your face, and help prevent pimples. Don't scrub too hard, or it'll hurt.
My brother gets zits all the time, so I'm somewhat of an 'expert', lol! Let me know if it works and if you need more help!Blackheads? help!?
gat a facial!!! works wonders removes all blackheads!! LUV IT
Try neutrogena's oil free acne wash, i use to have a blackhead problem too, i would touch my nose and feel the bumps, gross. I used alot of products but only this one was able to kill my blackheads, when i touch my nose i feel smoothness, i recomment using this only once a day and apply lots of moisturizer on those areas that dont produce any oil like your cheeks, goodluck!
go with a more natural strategy that costs less money and results are more promising. Cut a tomato and rub it in your problem areas with in a day you will see an improvement. GOod luck

EXFOLIATE!!!!
different things work on different peoples skin, you could try tea tree oil or lavender oil to calm the skin,
wash your face twice daily, keep your fringe and hair off your face as much as possible. also sleep with a towel wrapped around your pillow; to absorb any oils or grease from your face.
I liked the St ives apricot its very natural, smells good and gives a deep clean, if your not familiar with an expholiator be aware that some dont find it a pleasent experience(it doesnt hurt) (you can make a similar mixture at home with oatmeal...
1 Cup Rose Petals
1 Cup Lavender Flowers
1 Cup Whole Oatmeal
1/2 Cup Chopped Almonds
%26amp;
Coffee Grinder, Food Processor or Blender
1. Grind together all the ingredients until the texture is quite fine. Store in an air tight container.
2. To use the scrub, rub a handful gently onto damp skin in small, circular motions. Allow it to dry on the skin for a minute or so, then rinse off.)
for me different products work at different times, i find witch hazel has generally been the best http://www.witchskincare.com/products.as鈥?/a> i use the foaming wash three times a day and the expholiating gel wash about three times a week (using it too often will make your skin more greay and prone to spots) and the witch stick is perfect for quick treatments to calm blemishes, i like to use this before i go to bed and leave it on over night.
as for scars, i dont get any deep scaring with witch! but i do like to use http://www.boots.com/shop/product_detail鈥?/a> no7 from boots, if you buy it at the right time you can save a lot of money (they have 3 for 2 atm!) and that covers any light scars and blemishes and it doesnt effect my skin, even if i forget to take it off at night!
i find the best was to prevent scars is to just avoid temptation to pop or touch the pimples, if you are tempted, try washing your face. i find it helps stop the urge! if you really feel that you have to, take a shower and let the steam open your pores, that should make it easier to pop and reduce scarring. if you have any aloe vera or tea tree oil this will also help.
*if a product burns your face STOP USING IT IMMEDIATLY!!!!
*TOOTHEPASTE does NOT work, it only burns and dries out the skin* it will just leave a red sore on your skin, making it more noticable! and leave scars
A facial is more likely to give you MORE spots as it brings bacteria to the surface, so you will need to give it a couple of days.
concealor will cover it but i always thinks that it makes spots more noticable so try not to use too much! also be aware that this could irritate the spot more!!!
good luck

Acne. Zits. Blemish. Blackheads. HELP?
So lately, i've been getting a lot of zits and i want them GONE. what's a good product that's cheap, one that i can buy at like walmart or a drug store.Acne. Zits. Blemish. Blackheads. HELP?
Toothpaste and water. I'm serious!
Before you go to bed, wash your face with a cleanser, then dab toothpaste on the trouble areas. Models and actors do this.
Also, drinking lots of water clears your skin.
For a long term solution, you'll probably need to see a dermatologist.
Sorry there's no clear cut answer, but if there were a cheap, permanent way to clear your skin, thet product would be dominating the market.
.Acne. Zits. Blemish. Blackheads. HELP?
Witch Hazel
St Ives Apricot Scrub with Blackhead formula works great and it's inexpensive.
I know this sound gross but I use it on my hubbys but ans back cuz he gets lots of ingrown hairs and blackheads there and it has really helped.
The only products that have worked for me have been all-natural stuff, like Burt's Bees. This stuff, however, isn't the least expensive stuff, but it has amazing results. Most of the chemical products only make your skin worse.
There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
Cethaphil! especially because this one doesnt dry out your skin at all, also they have the lotion too. USE BOTH!
The vaccines your mom took you to get when you were a baby screwed up your immune system permanently. Acne breakouts are actually another inflammatory condition that have to do with the way your stress hormones interact with your immune system. It's like a disease, you can only treat the symptoms but you'll never cure the root cause.
We will live with it well into our 50's with tons of scars and there's nothing we can do about it.
sorry.
PROACTIVE (as advertised on tv)..........it really works, takes about 2 weeks and you will see a difference in your skin.......continue using it and it makes your skin look so smooth, healthy, young, and vibrant. It helps to close the pores. It even killed my facial moles, that use to appear, drop off, and regrow.....every now and then........I can swear by it, because I have been using it since last year. If they asked me to,.........I would even do a commercial for them............It's Great! Use it twice a day, everyday....non stop! Thats the only way its really going to work!
Cetaphil. Either the soap or cream, both work very well.
wash your face and use peroxide, put a little on a cotton ball or even a piece of a paper towel, it should clean up in 2 -3 days.
OH, and stay away from greasy food like french fries...I don't think chocolate affects them one way or the other....
If you鈥檙e looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne鈥?prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it鈥檚 advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.

the pore packs work well also to remove the congestion.......
A microdermabrasion cloth to deep clean n exfoliate........
A good moisturiser to replenish n heal......
Blackheads r a combo of oil n dirt clogging the pores.....its the air that makes them appear dark.....they (insert scientific term here)...basically they harden n set in the pore.
Gross huh?
keep your skin clean. Moisturised and it does take a little maintenence to keep them at bay........
but these methods do help!
Unfortunately its almost impossible to 'get rid' of them........
Just daily or weekly maintenence!
Use oil free products on your face....including makeup! And clean your face thoroughly after wearing makeup!
A microdermabrasion cloth is great for blackheads.......i use mine each night for my problem areas (nose, chin, little on the cheeks)......has worked like magic....no joke!
Good luck! N cheers to clean skin! How do i get rid of blackheads? there on my nose and on the sides of my nose too. please help !?

best of luck.my wishes to ya.!How do i get rid of blackheads? there on my nose and on the sides of my nose too. please help !?
um.. i use those blackhead strips. You can get them at any grocery store. You just put the strip on over your nose and wait 15 min. then take it off and they are gone. It doesn't hurt at all and you can get about 20 strips for 3bucks so yeah...
the ones I use are called ';Biore deep cleensing pore strips.';
goodluck
well you could use different products and um you could use light lotions on your face before you put on make up and stuff like that and um you could get this thing call ZENO and it uses heat to get rid of pimples and anything like that and it works in a day or two!
right now im trying proacvtive
Use clean and clear blackhead reducing face scrub and those ponds strips that ';supposedly'; remove them. I've tried them they reduce them but don't wipe 'em out completely.
put some toothpaste on then after 20 minutes wash it off.
you need to pop them like a pimple and when you squeeze it like a pimple white stuff would come out and thats you balcheads but i would only recomend for you to do if your not 13 or above because when you under this age your skin is so sensitive that the next day your face would be red beacuse of all that squeezing if you dont want that to happen go to a spa and ask them to do that for you .thats what i did. also your face maybe a little red but not really so if you do by yourself dont worry your face wont be that red and, also there is a noxzema blachead remover so try that also if you want good luck and oh yeah it doesnt hurt
i dunno, you have to wash ur face really good
Go to a dermatologist if its really bad, they will give you antibiotics and cream to get rid of them
Biore strips work wonders, but start washing your face at least 3xs a day. Nothing clears up a complexion better than keeping your skin extra clean if you have problems. And if none of that works I'd see a dermatologist.

I have blackheads. Help!?
I have blackheads all over my nose but I don't suffer from pimples or acne. I don't like getting monthly facial treatments. What products are best for me?I have blackheads. Help!?
I am sorry you have black heads. I used to get them pretty bad on my nose and chin. I am not sure where you have yours, but I will tell you what helped me. I washed my face with the Noxema liquid soap in the morning. I also washed my face with a face wipe (a make-up remover) at night. I change my pillow case every week, and stopped touching my face. I hope this helps.I have blackheads. Help!?
I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.
I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.
I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.
Literally the best acne face wash I've ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It's unique cause of it's herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.
You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn't work it will still save you butt on the return policy.
Well good luck and best wishes.
Biore nose and face strips, they suck the blackheads right off. They work soooo well
