Can't beat washing your face and or lean over a steam bath until your face and the pores are soft. The, using a blackhead extractor or your nails, carefully remove them one by one.
Blackheads are only pores filled with fat and then dirt laden over the top. Gentle scrubbing each night will help. Nothing you buy will do it alone. It takes gentle care on your part as well.

Biore makes these strips that you wet and then put on your face. When they dry you peel them off and they pull the dirt out of your pores. They aren't cheap but work pretty well! Try them and maybe follow with an astringent like SeaBreeze.
