Dozen steps to get rid of acne (pimples).

1. Drink water. Plenty of it.

2. Don't pick, press or rub your pimples. If you do, you risk spreading the bacteria and increasing the chances of scarring.

3. Use an over-the-counter product containing benzoyl peroxide once or twice a day. It helps break up the plug of dead skin cells, bacteria, and oil that clogs the pore and forms an acne blemish. Start with the lowest concentration, and work your way up.

4. Don't just spot-treat acne; put the product on acne-prone areas, too. That can include your entire face (avoid the lips and eyes), back, and chest.

5. Go easy on your face. Washing removes oils from the surface of the skin, not from within the plugged ducts. In fact, if you're too aggressive in your quest for cleanliness, you may end up drying out or irritating the sensitive skin on your face.

6. Wash properly once or twice a day, using a mild soap, and rub lightly with your fingertips and warm water. If your skin is oily, use a soap with benzoyl peroxide for its drying properties.

7. Don't use brushes, rough sponges, cleansers with granules or walnut hulls, or anything similar on the delicate facial skin.

8. Don't use oily products, such as hair pomades, heavy oil-based facial moisturizers, or oily cleansers.

9. Don't rest your chin on your hands or constantly touch your face.

10. Don't worry about what you eat, unless you notice a correlation between a particular food and your skin breaking out. But try to avoid the sugar.

11. Watch out for iodine, which can be found in multiple vitamins and iodized salt. Some doctors believe iodine may encourage acne.

12. Use the prescribed medicines for acne treatment, Differin gel (0.1%) and Accutane are the best of them.

I bought Clearsil Ultra for my son and it works wonders. It's roughly $7...Try that before you go spend money on expensive products like ProActive.
get biore products and neutrogina products. i use them and i have sensitive skin and it works on me.
St. ives scrub, blemish and blackhead control, it works really well.
I will send you some links to a great website that has a lot of all natural home remedies. They work really good, I use them all the time.

maybe its your diet( something that you eat) like chocolate, beef, pork maybe your hair products( PRODUCTS THAT LEAVE HAIR OILY) , lotions, (perfumed lotion is a no..no..no..on your face) you might be a little stressed. i would find a product with natural ingrediaants, neutrogena acne wash, or PROACTIV( that stuff really works). sometimes you have to change the products you use on your face after a while because they can go bad and lose their effect.
Fill a sink with boiling hot water. Make sure U close the bathroom door, so no hot air escapes. Lean over the sink, so ur eyes capture the steam. Stay there for about five minutes, then gently remove any blackheads with a tissue.
You can clean your skin with apple cider vinegar as a simple home remedy. Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness. Get any product with Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA)...this is often labeled as salicylic acid in the ingredients list. BHA exfoliates deep into pores. Nuetrogena sells some good BHA products.
