I've tried vinegar and lemon juice, but neither worked. Can anybody give me any tips to help with the removal of blackheads?
Try steaming your face for 10 minutes over a bowl of hot water, then wipe your face with a damp cool cloth then splash your face with cold water.
Blackheads and white heads are caused by bacteria getting into your pores and then the pores closing up with the bacteria inside.
The above worked for me for both black and white heads.
Good luck. Can anybody give me any tips to help with the removal of blackheads?
Drink plenty of still water it does make a difference - I try and drink at least a litre a day. I just fill my water bottle and sip it during the day. This will help flush out any impurities.
Use a gentle daily facial scrub and a deep facial cleanser (daily). Neutrogena does one designed for the removal of blackheads.
Try a 10 min facial steam (boiling water in sink , towel over head and sink) to open pores. Use a deep cleanser or facial scrub to dislodge the blackheads. Do this once a week.
Do not sleep in your makeup. If you are wearing a foundation leave this off as this might be clogging your pores and causing you to break out. If you desperately need to use something, use a light tinted moisturiser.
Ideally I would just use a regular moisturiser until your skin clears up.
Steam your face over hot water for 10-15 mins. Dab your face with a tissue then with a different tissue over your 2 fingers squeeze the blackheads out (they will come out very easy) try not to have long nails because you could leave marks! Moisturise everyday and exfoliate twice a week. Or use clean and clear exfoliate so you can exfoliate evryday in the shower. Good luck
Try filling a bowl with almost boiling water, then put your head over the bowl and a towel over your head - so that it covers yourself and the bowl.
This opens the pores in your face and will make blackheads easier to pop.
stick a piece of duck tape over them and then rip it off real fast. this is also a good way to remove unwanted hair instead of waxing or shaving. duck tape is good for a lot of things and really cheap to buy.
clean and clear - the light blue one
